When someone finds themselves in the midst of a legal crisis, it can be overwhelming. Laws can be complex and deadlines can easily be missed by someone with no legal training. Whether your issue is dealing with or assisting a loved one charged in a criminal matter, or if you were unfortunately injured as the result of a motor vehicle accident, our office can assist you with your needs. Below please find some answers to common questions that arise.

  • What should I look for in hiring a lawyer?
  • Why should I hire a Criminal Defense Attorney? An experienced Criminal Defense Attorney can review your case for any potential legal issues to allow you an opportunity raise any potential applicable defenses. Ensuring that each client obtains the best outcome is the mission of a criminal defense attorney. You deserve the peace of mind of knowing that no stone has been left unturned.
  • Should I just negotiate my own settlement in a personal injury case? No, many times the adjustor will attempt to take advantage of an unrepresented claimant. I have handled matters where settlement offers of a few hundred dollars ballooned to settlements worth multiple thousands based on my legal work. It is not advised to handle a personal injury matter unrepresented if you can obtain legal representation.
  • How do I visit with a family member in jail? Maricopa County and Pima County utilizes GTL for video visitation. Pinal County utilizes Securus for video visitation.

  • How do I send mail to a family member in jail?
  • I was pulled over for DUI but not charged? Should I hire a lawyer? Yes, an experienced DUI attorney can assist you prior to charges being instituted depending on your situation. The most common issue that arises after a DUI arrest is that an individual’s driver’s license is suspended shortly after arrest. Our office can assist you in asserting your right to a hearing to avoid an immediate suspension of driving privileges.
  • What is an initial appearance? Do I need a lawyer? At the “Initial Appearance” the judge will review the charges against you and set initial release conditions. The Court will do so be reviewing the probable cause statement document submitted in any particular case. When an individual is unrepresented, many times this form is not disclosed until AFTER the probable cause determination has been made and a bond has been set. When an attorney is representing an individual, the attorney receives this document and is able to argue there is no probable cause if there is a defect in the document. This can lead to a client having their case dismissed very early in the process – an opportunity that is lost if the Initial Appearance is conducted without a Defense Attorney.
  • How do I handle a warrant for my arrest? An experienced Arizona Criminal Defense Attorney can assist you if there is a warrant for your arrest. Many times, filing a motion to quash warrant and obtaining court dates for a client can effectively resolve the warrant issue.
